The Quickstart Guide

The essential first steps of setting up ADR Notable!

Setting Up Your Firm

Welcome to ADR Notable! Let’s get started by setting up your firm to maximize the efficiency of your workflow.

Step 1: Access Firm Settings

  1. Click the gear icon in the lower-left corner of ADR Notable.
  2. Select Manage Firms—this is your control center for all account settings.

Quick Tip: If you’re unsure where to make a change, start with Manage Firms! (Expect for Billing Rates—go to either the Professionals Database or your Profile Details)

Step 2: Update Your Firm Information

  1. Navigate to the Update Firms tab at the top.
  2. If your firm has multiple team members, click Invite User to send email invitations to your colleagues. They’ll receive an email with instructions to create an account.
  3. Input your Firm Name, Address, and Contact Information to ensure that all communications and invoices reflect your firm's identity.

Step 3: Automate Your Case ID System

  1. Enable the Auto Generate Case ID option by checking the corresponding box.
  2. When creating your next case, manually enter the starting Case ID (e.g., 2025-001). ADR Notable will automatically generate sequential IDs for future cases (e.g., 2025-002, 2025-003).

Step 4: Configure Security Settings

  • Define password requirements for your team to maintain strong account security.
  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for an added layer of protection.

Step 5: Manage Digital Signatures

  • Need more digital signatures? You can purchase additional signatures directly in the Digital Signature section.

Step 6: Set Up Billing Settings

To take full advantage of ADR Notable's billing features, follow these steps:

  1. Upload Your Logo: Personalize your invoices with your firm’s branding.
  2. Set Payment Terms and Rounding Rules: Define your payment terms and decide how to round billable amounts.
  3. Create Invoice Memos: Add a memo that will appear on all invoices.
  4. Customize Email Templates: Draft the email messages clients receive for:
    • Standard Invoices
    • Advanced Fee Invoices
    • Invoice Reminders
    • Credit Memos
  5. Enable Stripe and other ways you accept payment: Easily accept online credit card payments.

Quick Tip: Ensure your billing rates are added to your profile in the Professionals Database to streamline invoicing.
