Custom Case Statuses

ADR Notable provides a few (Prospective, Intake, Open, and a few Closed options), but let's get more specific to help track the life cycle of a case by creating our own!

Under Manage Firms, navigate to the Case Status Codes tab.

First step, select the Parent Status Code.

What does that mean?  Essentially, we'll pick the category (Prospective, Intake, Open, Closed)  our new status will live under.

In this example, we'll create a status under the Open category. 

Think about your specific workflow. What are the individual steps you take in a case's life cycle? Create statuses that make sense to your process, and use them to stay organized.
 
 
Inside a case, our new status will appear and we can assign it at any time.
 
Statuses can be used to track Outcomes as well. Take a look: 
 
 

How else can Statuses help you?

1. Filter the Case List based on Status.
 
 
Right now, we only want to see cases that are in the Intake stage, Open, or Resolved - Fully.
