Google Calendar won't connect
If your google calendar sync does not work on the first try, do this:
Please follow the steps in order.
1) Restart Chrome
• Close all Chrome windows completely
• Open Chrome again in a normal window (not Incognito)
2) Do NOT use Incognito mode
Google sign-in will fail in private/incognito windows.
Make sure you are using a normal Chrome window.
3) Update Chrome
Open this in Chrome:
chrome://settings/help
Allow Chrome to update, then restart the browser.
4) Allow third-party cookies (temporary)
Open: chrome://settings/cookies
Select Allow third-party cookies (temporary for testing).
5) Allow pop-ups
Open: chrome://settings/content/popups
Ensure pop-ups are allowed for Google sign-in and ADR Notable.
6) Clear saved site data
Open: chrome://settings/content/all
Search and remove site data for:
After clearing, close and reopen Chrome.
7) Turn off browser extensions (temporary)
Open: chrome://extensions
Temporarily disable:
• Ad blockers
• Privacy/security extensions
• VPN extensions
• Script blockers
Then try connecting again.
8) Turn off VPN / web filtering (temporary)
If using a VPN, proxy, antivirus web shield, or company web filter, please turn it off and retry.
These often block Google authentication.
9) Make sure JavaScript is enabled
Open: chrome://settings/content/javascript
Ensure JavaScript is Allowed.
10) Reset Google permissions for the app
Open: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Sign in → Find ADR Notable → Click Remove Access
11) Sign out of extra Google accounts
If multiple Google accounts are signed in, Google may choose the wrong one.
Please sign out of other accounts and keep only the one you want to connect.
12) Connect again
Open ADR Notable
Go to Calendar → Connect with Google
Click Continue → Allow when prompted
13) Complete Google verification
If Google asks for phone/email verification, approve it and continue.
14) Check computer date & time
Ensure your computer date, time, and timezone are correct.
15) Try Chrome Guest mode
If the issue continues:
• Click your Chrome profile icon → Guest
• Sign in to ADR Notable → Try connecting again
16) If using a work/school Google account
Your Google admin may block third-party apps.
Please ask your IT team to allow access for ADR Notable.
17) Try another internet connection
If possible, test using a mobile hotspot to rule out network restrictions.
