Case Documents
Store, organize, edit and request case documents in ADR Notable.
Every case has its own Documents section. Create folders (and sub-folders) to organize your case files in the way that makes sense to you and your practice. Any file uploaded here (by you, a user in your firm, or via the Request a Document feature) will only be accessible from inside that case.
However, The Library is accessible from within Case Documents. Navigate to the dropdown that says Case Files. You'll see you can pull up My Files, Firm Files, or ADR Notable files from the Library. Any Library file can be copied into case files using the Copy File button. This is also where you will use Case Mapping to autofill Library Templates.
Folders can be reordered using drag and drop, and files can be moved from folder to folder using drag and drop as well.
Files from inside a case can be sent as email attachments to clients using the Send Email Attachment button. Edit the body of the email or use a default message from inside the case when you save and send. The sender of the email will always be your Firm Name and the subject line will be the document's name followed by the Case Name.
You can also edit (or preview) Word documents from inside ADR Notable using our integration with Word for Web. Select the document you want to edit (or preview) and click the Open in Word for the Web button. Any edits you make will be autosaved and update the document inside the case. PDFs will have a Preview button.
Each case will have a Retained Documents folder. Anything store here will be excused from ADR Notable's Secure Delete functionality inside the case.
Documents can be sent for Digital Signature from Case Documents as well. Select the document (whether it's in the Case Files or from the Library) and click the Add button with the SignNow icon on it.
Other folders that may appear:
Template documents: When case mapping is used inside a case, a new folder called Template Documents will be created. All templates you have autofilled using Case Mapping from the Library into the case will be stored there.
Digital Signature Documents: When a digital signature request is sent from inside a case, a folder called Digital Signature Documents will be created with subfolders (drafts, forms used, pending, and completed).
